BS Tourism Department Head, Ms. Janice Ley Pacete was elected president of the Philippine Association of Researchers for Tourism and Hospitality (PARTH) South Manila Chapter, held on September 14, 2019 at PATTS College of Aeronautics.
Pacete said, “I am humbled by the trust given to me by my fellow research advocates. To be president of PARTH is a great challenge to me because it imposes big responsibility. I will try my utmost best to promote shared responsibility, the ethical conduct of research and the ability to perform research in the community.”
PARTH is composed of researchers from prestigious Higher Education Institutions with the goal of fostering research when it comes to the needs of the Academe and the Industry interlinked together, growing and developing at the same time.
Elected PARTH South of Manila Chapter officers are: President-Ms. Janice Ley Pacete (Olivarez College), Vice President – Dr. Rumar Abaigar (Taguig City University), Secretary-Dr. Alfred Lopez (Parañaque City College), Treasurer- Dr. Karen Millano (PATTS College of Aeronautics), Auditor-Dr. Josefina Torres (Sapphire International Aviation Academy).
