Olivarez College: Hail to the Champion of 25th NCRAA

Olivarez College bagged the golden trophy of the 25th season of the National Capital Region Athletic Association (NCRAA) against De Ocampo Memorial College with the final score of 72-64. The game made the Sea Lions Team win the 3rd Game of the best of three series. The games were held at its homecourt Olivarez College Coliseum. Sea Lions made a good start to set the court on fire from its opposing team of Cobras. They faced the different strategies and plans of the Cobras against them but still able to defy all the odds thrown to the team after all.

This was an incredible moment for all the Olivarians who showed their support by cheering and believing that Sea Lions could make it until the end. At the middle of the game, the coliseum was filled with tension and pressure. There were a lot of emotions inside and outside the court, some were cheering joyfully, while the others were praying. A lot of people believed that they will win and the stars already conspired that the fate was on its way to hail our school as the new champion of the 25th season of the National Capital Region Athletic Association (NCRAA). This was the third time for Olivarez College to win the championship. Our basketball players did a great play for this season, namely: John Rabe, who scored 12 points in the final game and the three athletes who took places in Mythical Five, namely: Vinny Begaso, Archie Sunga and John Uduba.

This served as another victory for the whole institution. The determination and dedication of the team has paid off. It is another reason to be proud for being part of Olivarian Community. Kudos to Sea Lions. Cheers for the next milestones that will come!
