The Olivarez College gave a grand welcome to IBED and DPRO senior high school students on June 17, 2019 in a full-packed first flag raising ceremony for the academic year 2019-2020.
Dr. Alfredo Bandong, Principal was overwhelmed with the turnout of the enrollment influx this year. With the unprecedented increase in the enrollment, new building was constructed to accommodate the growing DPRO senior high school students, while it needed to hire almost 62 new faculty members to complete its pool to handle respective classes. Tough screening process was done accordingly as per faculty hiring provision stated in the manual. To note, it took almost a week to complete the orientation process along different facets and parameters of operations involved in by the faculty. Thus, recently, the latter attended the Senior High School Faculty Kick-Off Training Seminar and the CPD-Accredited Annual Institutional Faculty Development Seminar, respectively.
The administrators, teachers and non-teaching staff are looking forward to welcoming them to an academic community that will challenge, inspire, and help them shape their future.
