OC takes part in 6th CoTEIS Board Session

Olivarez College, a current member of the Consortium of Teacher Education Institutions of the South (CoTEIS), represented by Dr. Elmer B. de Leon (AVPAA and Dean), Ms. Teresita V. Abuan (Chair) and Ms. Genezelle De Guzman (Executive Asst.) attended the 6th CoTEIS Board Meeting on July 18, 2019 at Taguig City University, Taguig City. Agenda included this year’s plans for the consortium and its application to Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

To note, Olivarez College was the founding institution of this consortium in June 2019, thru the initiative and helmsmanship of Dr. De Leon, with his advocacy to strengthen teacher education in the south by focusing on preservice and in-service teacher training, curriculum reforms and innovation, research and extension engagement and licensure examination performance, all of which are reflected in the vision and goals of CoTEIS.
