OC paves to HosTCoDe Assembly

Ms. Janice Ley Pacete and Ms. Ellene Rolda, Chair of Tourism Management and Faculty in the Hospitality Management Program, respectively, represented Olivarez College in the Hospitality and Tourism Council of Deans (HosTCoDe) Assembly, with the CHED-NCR and Meeting on July 25, 2019 at Hotel Jen, Pasay City.  

The said activity focused on the current trends and best practices for the development and sustainability of tourism and hospitality and the expectations and possible outcomes. It also noted the tourism’s contribution to the Philippine GDP increase that attributed to more than 5 million jobs in the country for the last year. Aggressive sustainability discussions were done led by those from resort and hotel industry while sharing their best practices and skill demands for potential employment.
