Olivarez College conducted its midyear administrative development training seminar on November 21, 2019 at the Conference room which aimed to prepare administrators on risk management and data analytic skills toward sustainable institutional operation.
In the training proceedings, two plenary sessions were presented by this year’s two vibrant and dynamic speakers who were also experts on school risk management and administration. To wit: (1) Session 1: “School Risk Management for Administrators” which was presented by the President of Manila Tytana Colleges, Dr. Sergio S. Cao; and (2) Session 2: “Data Analytics for Administrators” which was delivered by the Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs of Olivarez College, Dr. Elmer B. De Leon.
The training commenced with an opening remarks by the Dean of CHRS, Ms. Cynthia Acosta followed by the review of the Olivarian Education by the Dean of Student Affairs, Mr. Zernan Dimaiwat. The Statement of Purpose was delivered by the Head of Quality Assurance and Alumni Relations, Mr. Gabriel Cabardo.
Purposively, in this gathering, there were workshops on organization of Institutional Risk Management Bureau (IRMB), formulation of policies, rules and responsibilities. Furthermore, participants were expected to present and share their outputs as the institution officially launches the Institutional Risk Management Bureau (IRMB).
Likewise, sample of data analytics was reported by respective groups as outputs for the second workshop.
At the end, participants answer the assessment tool intended for this purpose.
The said activity was expected to bring about high impact management that would strengthen stakeholders’ understanding of school risk management as inputs to organizing Olivarez College Risk Management Team towards secured and sustainable school operation.
