The faculty members of the Olivarez College –Parañaque gathered on August 3 and 5, 2021, for its Annual Faculty Development Training Seminar with the theme: SUSTAINING 21ST CENTURY QUALITY EDUCATION IN THE PRESENT TEACHING-LEARNING ENVIRONMENT.
Along the line, the Day 1-morning session delved into the faculty orientation about the services of the school. Explicitly, the Human Resource Department, Registrar, Accounting Department, and Center for Guidance and Counseling, respectively, oriented the faculty members about the services they offer.
Meanwhile, the afternoon session focused on the Re-visitation of the Flexible Learning Continuity Plans: Adhering to the Demands and Needs of Teachers and Learners in the Present Teaching-Learning Environment which Ms. Cynthia R. Acosta, MAN, Academic Director, facilitated.
Moreover, Dr. Eric L. Olivarez, Vice President for Academics and Services, presented the Institutional Thrusts, Instructional Policies, the Administrators, and New Faculty Members.
Lastly, Dr. Rhoderick V. Nuncio, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts at De La Salle University-Manila dealt on Instructional Delivery and Assessment Skills in the Present Learning Environment on the second day.
As an output of this day’s activity, lecture workshops and assessments in various modalities were directed during the entire training to prepare the faculty members for the School Year 2021-2022.
