Academic Year 2019-2020 has already started, this awaits new journey to unfold for the Olivarians. Acquaintance Party is one of the most anticipated events by the students. This activity allows the upperclassmen to welcome new students in the college, a time to mingle and acquaint themselves with one another. This makes them better students, as they will become more comfortable working and interacting with one another.
The unpredictable downpour of rain which caused a very heavy traffic jam in the stretch of Dr. A. Santos Avenue did not stop the students to come on time at 7:00 o’clock on July 31, 2019 to party.
The newly elected SSG Officers, together with the Dean of Student Affairs, Mr. Zernan Dimaiwat put their hearts and minds to conceptualize the theme and the program of the party. Fun-filled and remarkable are words perfectly captured the night of Denim in the Students’ Acquaintance Party.
The event was graced by the presence of the school administrators and some college faculty members. Dr. Elmer B. De Leon, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs, gave his words of welcome and inducted the newly elected SSG officers.
The search for Miss Q and A and Stars of the Night took place in the middle of the fun.
Undoubtedly, this is the first major successful event of the SSC 2019. It was indeed highly requested by most of the students for it brings friendship and for the start of a wonderful journey throughout the school year. We are looking forward to next year’s Acquaintance Party and celebrate the essence of friendship and the welcoming of new members to its growing Oli
varian
