Admission Requirements

In general only applicants who in addition to the required educational attainment meet the level of academic achievement that implies a developed ability for advanced study will be admitted to the Graduate School of Olivarez College. Applicants for admission to the Graduate School must comply with the requirements of the said programs.

• Freshmen and transferees

1. Two (2) long folders with fasteners
2. Original and photocopy of Honorable Dismissal
3. Original and photocopy of copy of grades
4. Two (2) pcs. photocopy of Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Birth Certificate
5. Original and photocopy of Certificate of Good Moral Character signed by the Principal/Dean or Guidance Counselor from previous school
6. Copy of Entrance Exam Result
7. Copy of Official Transcript of Record with remarks “Copy for Olivarez College” to be submitted one (1) month after start of classes

• Foreign students

1. Academic documents authenticated by the Philippine Embassy and/or Consulate official located in the student’s country of origin (with English translation, if written in foreign language)
2. Student’s Personal History Statement
3. Photocopy of student’s passport showing its biopage, latest arrival and authorized stay in the Philippines
4. Original and photocopy of Medical Certificate issued by Bureau of Quarantine

Enrollment Procedure

• New students and transferees

1. Consult the Office of Graduate School for admission requirements.
2. Pay the entrance examination fee at the Accounting Office.
3. Proceed to the Guidance and Testing Office for entrance examination and wait for the release of the entrance result and the interview with the Dean of the Graduate School.
4. Get the Registration from the Office of the Graduate School. Complete the forms with your scheduled classes approved by the Dean of the Graduate School.
5. Proceed to the Accounting Office for the Assessment and payment of fees.
6. Present your official receipt and registration card at the Office of the Graduate School for tallying of your subjects.
7. Proceed to the Registrar’s Office to get the admission slip

• Old students

1. Secure clearance form from the Registrar’s Office.
2. Secure the registration form from the Dean of the Graduate School.
3. Secure the approval of the registration form from the Dean of the Graduate School.
4. Proceed to the Accounting Office for assessment and payment of school fees.
5. Secure admission slip from the Office of the Registrar.

Fees and Payment

• Fees and financial transactions

All payments should be transacted directly in the Accounting Office. Updated schemes of tuition fees are posted on the bulletin board of the Graduate School and the Accounting Office. Students who pay in check but is returned by the bank for whatever reason will automatically be deleted from the enrollment list unless, upon receipt of notice from the Office of the Graduate School, they immediately settle their account with the Accounting Office.

• Withdrawal and refund

Claims for refund are made according to the following provision in the Manual of Regulations of Private Schools: A student with transfers or otherwise withdrawals in writing within two weeks after the beginning of classes and who has already paid the pertinent tuition and other school fees in full, or for any length of time beyond one month may be charged ten percent (10%) of the total amount due for the semester if he withdraws within the first week of classes, or twenty percent (20%) if within the second week of classes, regardless of whether or not he has actually attended classes. The student may be charged all the school fees in full if he withdraws anytime after the second week of classes.

“When a student registers in a school, it is understood that he is enrolling for the entire school year for elementary and secondary course and for the entire semester for collegiate courses.” (Article XIII, Section 62 of the Manual of Regulation for Private Schools)

• Financial delinquency

The College shall have the right to withhold report of grades, transcript of record and diploma of graduation of any student who is financially delinquent or against whom the College holds a record of indebtedness until such indebtedness is paid. A student who is financially delinquent at the close of a semester will not be permitted to register for a succeeding semester unless his account is settled.
